Book Donations Resume

We are now accepting donations for our Summer Book Sale.

Drop off is Monday afternoons from 1 to 3 PM ONLY at our East side door.

We will accept:

Children and adult books in clean saleable condition, DVDs, music CDs, and audio books.
New England and Cape Cod history is always appreciated.

We will not accept:

Clearly outdated books, such as travel guides, financial advice, diet/medical, encyclopedias, or technical manuals. Please no damaged, soiled or mildewed items.

To arrange another time to make donations other than Mondays from 1 - 3 PM, please call the library to make an appointment.

To avoid repeated trips to the recycling containers at the town dump, we ask that people try to follow the guidelines we have set up.

Want To Donate Plants?

Plant Sale Info: Once spring is really here and people start working in their yards, some may want to donate plants in advance of the sale. 

Lucky for us, Sally Hockenbury will visit, dig up, and pot whatever you would like removed from your garden, and tend it in her own garden until June. This is a win-win opportunity for everyone, while increasing plant inventory for the sale.

Volunteers Needed

Traditionally, members of the community have joined library volunteers the day of the sale to help with plants or books.  

Sign-up sheets will be posted at the Circulation Desk in early June.
