Halloween on the Common

Thursday, October 31st
from 4:30 to 6:30 PM

The library will once again be participating in the Halloween on the Common event. Although the library will be open our regular hours on October 31st (10 AM to 6 PM) and we will have a special selection of treats at the checkout counter, Ms. Carrie will be setting up at Thacher Hall from 5 to 6 PM to hand out treats and have a (slightly) spooky STORYTIME at 5:30 PM. Maine - The state and the stories

Stories for creative readers ages 7 and up on the second Thursday of each month (September to June).

This year we will explore different cultures and historical periods by reading a selection of fiction and nonfiction books. A snack will be served.

Our story fence returns for the summer (July and August)! Please stop by to read the adorable story ROLL, ROLL LITTLE PEA by Cecile Bergame with illustrations by Magali Attiogbe. Check the progress of our pea plants and enjoy some quiet time in our backyard.

Thursdays, 3 PM to 5 PM.
For ages 6 and up.

- Bring your imagination

- Parent or Guardian must  
   be in the building

- Afternoons are FREE play
   and best behavior is
   required

- Kids will be responsible for
   their own creations and
   cleanup.
