Chapter One…Let’s Begin
It’s the YPL Chapter ONE Project for adults, kids, everyone!
We have created a new program, which we hope all will participate in…adults, kids, everyone. The YPL Chapter ONE Project started as a simple idea to get people interested in books that they might not naturally select and to give a little taste of the variety of books in the YPL collection. We are asking patrons and community members to record the first chapter only of a book that they have enjoyed and want to share.
It is very simple and easy…no Zoom meeting skills involved, no mask wearing, no social distancing, just simply downloading a recording application for your phone, hand-held or computer (Easy Voice Recorder or Voice Recorder) and recording Chapter ONE. Please provide your name, affiliation with YPL (if you would like), the title and author of the book, the age group the book is appropriate for, and any comments you feel are relevant about your reason for selecting the book. Once your recording meets your satisfaction, please email it along to us at [email protected].
