Join the challenge! Stop by and pick up a list of specific monthly book challenges for 2024. Read a book each month, fill out an online form about the book, and have a chance to win a prize at the end of the year!

YPL Book Group
The YPL Book Group, led by Leslie Altman, meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 2 PM. No meeting in July or December.

New Book Group members are always welcome and refreshments are served.

Neighborhood Book Group, led by Rick Woods, meets the second Thursday of the month at 4 PM in the Gale Room. No meeting July or August.

YPL Drop-in Chess Club

Every Thursday at 4:00 PM

Come join us for YPL Chess Club! Novice and experienced players are welcome. Basic instruction will be provided by Ralph Menconi when he is in attendance. The Club is open to adults and children (ages 8 and up, please). See you then!

There is a new chess set in the Reading Room for the pleasure of our patrons.
